Kalambo Fall, one of the famous waterfalls in Africa located at the southwestern shore of Lake Tanganyika and it is the second-highest waterfall on the entire continent.
Tanzania is famous for its collection of floras and faunas. As per records, around 20% of African rare species animals found over this country. Not only that, it has 21 national parks, bio reserves, one conservation area and 3 marine parks. Among them Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Gombe Stream National Park are well known. These bio reserve areas have been declared as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and also named as a 7th world wonder. Tanzania is also world famous for the Zebras, Black Rhinoceros, Impala, Gazelle, Giraffe, Great Buffalo Herds, Elephants, leopards, and Lions. This country has the largest lion population in the world. Moreover, this is the home for an average 130 species of amphibians, 275 reptiles, and other rarest species of mammals and birds.
Dodoma is the capital and the largest city in Tanzania. Basically, two religions that control the country’s total religious field are Christian and Islam. Moreover, some minor religions, ethnic groups are also present. The country has a large variation in languages also. Approximately 100 different languages are spoken in various parts of this country. The country has no official language but Swahili is considered as the national language of Tanzania.
